I am one lucky lady! Lisa hired me to help her plan a fun, festive and delicious Curious George themed second birthday party for her son Miles! There is nothing better than spending your work days looking at color! Lots of it! Today we are going to focus on the dessert table which was delicious and oh so much fun to create! I took all of the photos for my client and for Live the fancy life. Watch for more details later this week!
A few of our (Lisa and me) favorite details:
All of the Curious George printables
Party favors wrapped with ribbon and finished with a cute favor tag (watch for photos soon)
The art station for kids included canvases to paint, custom coloring sheets and all kinds of other goodies (photos coming soon)
Simple cake topper
Curious George guest book (photos coming)
The yellow table Lisa already owned was great for the desert. We added clear chevron scrapbook paper from Archivers to serve the desserts
The cake topper was simple but so cute.
The cupcakes were from a new shop in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Nadia Cupcakes won cupcake wars and recently opened their second shop in my new hometown!
I loved working with Grace & Guy Paperie on the custom-designed paper products. So cute with a vintage modern feel.
These cute paper straws were a fun detail.
Do you see the chevron patterned clear paper under everything? What a great find they were! They are clear acrylic like pieces of scrapbook paper from Archivers which added a fun touch to the dessert table. They are washable and all!
These cake pops were delicious! Jenn at Beyond the Bar Bakery made them. So good!
And one last shot.
